Manual Lever Operated Lug Type Butterfly Valve
Our high-quality lug type butterfly valve features a robust ductile iron or cast iron body with threaded lugs for secure bolt connections between pipe flanges. Equipped with a manual lever handle (hand lever) for easy quarter-turn operation, this valve provides reliable on/off and throttling control with a 90-degree rotation from fully open to closed.
Key Features:
Body Style: Lug type design, compatible with ANSI 150, PN10/16, and other flange standards. Ideal for dead-end service without needing a downstream flange.
Disc & Seat: Stainless steel or nickel-plated ductile iron disc with EPDM (or optional NBR/Viton) resilient seat for bubble-tight shutoff and excellent sealing.
Operation: Manual lever handle with lockable positions (typically 10 positions) for precise flow control. Suitable for sizes 2" to 12" (DN50-DN300).
Pressure Rating: Up to 225 PSI / PN16, depending on size.
Temperature Range: -4°F to 194°F (-20°C to 90°C) with EPDM seat.
Applications: Perfect for water treatment, HVAC systems, chemical processing, oil & gas pipelines, irrigation, and general industrial flow control of liquids, gases, and slurries.
Advantages:
Easy installation and maintenance – no need for additional gaskets as the seat seals directly against flanges.
Compact and lightweight compared to gate valves, with low pressure drop.
Cost-effective, durable, and corrosion-resistant for long service life.
Choose this manual hand lever lug butterfly valve for reliable performance in demanding environments. Custom sizes, materials, and gear operators available upon request.
